Come Back To Texas!
*~Soup's On Magazine!~*
Ok, Well, If you do not already know, a girl named Amanda has decided to launch a magazine. What's this magazine about? Well none other than, the amazingly talented, Bowling For Soup! The name of the magazine is "Soup's On". I was very excited to hear about it. I was glad that someone thought of an idea like this, it wa spure genious. And I'm SO excited about it! But some people don't know anything about it, well, I decided to find out a little more myself. So, I took the liberty of asking Amanda some questions about the magazine. So here is some up close and personal information about "Soup's On" The Bowling For Soup Magazine, given to me by the one and only, Amanda, Editor and Founder of this incredible periodical.

Well, let's get started shall we?
Me-How did you think of the idea to do this magazine?

Amanda-I love to write - I've been writing since I was like 8 and as I went through my various "phases" as a kid I started writing things about them. When I was a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer I made a little "magazine"--which wasn't really, but whatever, haha--called "Get Slayed", then came Avril and I made one for her called "Sk8er" but I didn't really take those two seriously. I've been a fan of the boys for a long time and it occured to me that I should make one for them--and this one I did take seriously becuase they're my favorite and they deserve it more than anyone. And that's when "Soup's On" was born--it's going very well and I hope to--hopefully-maybe next time they go--go with the boys to the UK to do a UK tour journal for the magazine, we'll see how everything goes.

Me-Did you write this whole thing by yourself?

Amanda-Yes, I did write the whole thing myself, right now with it being new and everything I just don't really trust anyone to do any writing for me, too much of a liability you know

Me- How long did it take to write the whole thing?

Amanda-It took me about three and a half months to write everything - what with coming up with ideas, and having to make time to do it becuase of classes and stuff.

Me-How long did it take to get the magazine actually put together and written?

Amanda-Umm....I'd say about the same time, about three and a half months or so...maybe a little longer because I didn't start writing it as soon as the idea popped into my head, I waited awhile...so I'd say on a whole, about four months.

Me-What does the magazine consist of?

Amanda-Pretty much it just consists of articles about the band, there's a couple fun thngs in there, but I don't wanna give too much away. There's not really any person info in there about the boys - they like to have their personal lives - which I'm sure we can all understand, right?

Me-Is it going to be available to the public?

Amanda-of course - I have high hopes for this magazine. I'm working with a publshing company right now and with the boys as well, I'm not sure when it's gonna start being available...to tell you the truth I couldn't even give you an estimate, at least not right now. Keep checking my myspace page on it though - updates are postd there as soon as they are known.

Me-How many articles are in it?

Amanda-I'm not exactly sure off hand, quite a few.

Me-How many pages is the magazine?

Amanda-again off hand I'm not really sure...
